DESCRIPTION:A Playful Celebration of Personality\, Creativity & All the Wonderful Things That Make Us Uniquely Us\n  \nJoin us at THE DRAWING ROOM this October for a playful and character-filled workshop with South African artist Diana Wilson\, celebrating individuality\, creativity and all the little quirks that make us wonderfully unique. \nAs Halloween month begins\, we’re celebrating the wonderfully wicked\, the wonderfully weird and the wonderfully individual\, not spooky or scary\, but full of personality\, character and a little bit of fun.\n  \nBig Little People is an invitation to embrace the things that make us uniquely us. The quirks\, habits\, expressions\, personalities and little details that perhaps we once thought were odd\, but have come to love. \nA Morning to Choose\, Create & Decorate\nWe’ll begin by choosing the pieces that will become your very own Big Little Person. \nYou’ll select your body and head from the available pieces\, choose your skirt and begin assembling your character before Diana guides you through the creative process. From there\, the fun really begins. \nUsing paint\, colour\, pattern and your own imagination\, you’ll be invited to customise and decorate your little person\, giving them their own look\, character and personality. \nDiana will share her approach and guide you through the process\, offering ideas and inspiration while leaving plenty of room for your own creativity. \nYour little person could be a reflection of you\, someone you know\, or a completely imaginary character. They might be colourful\, eccentric\, elegant\, cheeky\, dramatic or wonderfully odd. \nThere are no rules and no two will be the same. The joy of this workshop is in the freedom to play\, experiment and see where your imagination takes you. \nBy the end of the morning\, you’ll have created your own Big Little Person to take home\,  a tiny character with a very big personality and a story that is completely your own. \nNo previous artistic experience is needed. This is about having fun\, getting creative and enjoying the simple pleasure of making something with your hands. \nMeet the Artist: Diana Wilson\nDiana Wilson is a South African artist now living in Great Bookham\, Surrey. \nAfter a long career in the pharmaceutical industry\, Diana made the decision to follow her creative ambitions and embark on a new chapter centred around art and making. \nHer creative journey is something we particularly love here at THE DRAWING ROOM\,  the courage to change direction\, follow a passion and make space for something more creative. \nOriginally developed and hosted by Diana in South Africa\, Big Little People is a playful workshop centred around character\, individuality and self-expression. \nDiana loves encouraging people to step away from perfection and simply enjoy the process of creating.
