Simply book your studio slot\, arrive\, choose your pottery from our shelves and paint it at your own pace. \nWhether you’re visiting with the family\, meeting friends\, enjoying a creative date\, or simply fancy some peaceful time to yourself\, our studio is designed to be a calm and welcoming place to slow down and get creative. \nHow Pottery Painting Works\n  \n1. Book your studio session\nBook a 1.5-hour pottery painting session from Wednesday to Saturday\, between 10am and 3pm. \nThere is a £6 studio fee per person\, paid when you book your session. \n2. Come and choose your pottery\nWhen you arrive\, take a look through our pottery shelves and choose the piece you’d like to paint. \nWe have a changing selection of pottery to choose from\, with prices starting from: £12\, £18\, £22\, £30 & £45 \nPottery is selected and purchased separately on the day\, and pieces are subject to availability. \n3. Paint your piece\nChoose your colours and get creative! \nYour £6 studio fee covers the use of our creative space\, painting materials\, glazes and firing. Everything is set up for you\, so you can settle in and enjoy your session without needing to bring anything with you. \nOur sessions are self-led\, meaning you are free to paint your piece in your own style and at your own pace. Friendly help and guidance is available if you need it. \n4. Leave it with us\nOnce you’ve finished painting\, simply leave your pottery with our team. \nWe’ll carefully glaze and kiln-fire your piece to give it a beautiful\, durable finish. \n5. DESCRIPTION:A Seasonal Autumn Reset Combining Gentle Wellbeing\, Reflection & Nature-Inspired Creativity\n  \nJoin us at THE DRAWING ROOM for the second workshop in our seasonal collaboration with Surrey-based artist and illustrator Annabel Hocking\, joined this season by yoga and wellbeing practitioner Poppy & founder of Yoga Journey. \nFollowing our summer Alfresco Living: A Mediterranean-Inspired Painting Workshop\, where we celebrated the colours\, atmosphere and simple pleasures of summer through outdoor dining\, creativity and gathering around the table\, our seasonal series moves into autumn. \nRoot & Gather is an invitation to slow down\, pause and reconnect as summer comes to an end and a new season begins. \nSeptember can feel like a natural reset\, routines return\, life becomes a little busier and we start thinking about the months ahead. Rather than rushing straight into the next chapter\, this two-hour experience offers a chance to take a breath\, reflect on the year so far and consider how you want the rest of the year to feel. \nSet within our light-filled greenhouse studio surrounded by gardens and seasonal greenery\, this beautifully considered morning brings together gentle wellbeing\, reflection and creative expression. \nA Morning to Pause\, Reflect & Create \nWe’ll begin with Poppy\, who will guide you through a gentle grounding practice designed to help you arrive fully in the moment. \nThrough breathwork\, gentle seated movement\, stretching and gratitude\, you’ll have space to release some of the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with yourself before moving into the creative part of the morning. \nThen\, with Annabel Hocking\, you’ll be invited to explore your reflections through a beautifully curated creative journaling experience. \nUsing a selection of beautiful papers\, imagery\, botanical printing blocks and nature-inspired materials\, you’ll create an intuitive\, layered journal page inspired by the changing season and how you want the months ahead to feel. \nYour page can be personalised with handwritten reflections\, drawings\, colour and creative details\, creating something completely unique to you. You’ll also have the opportunity to create a little pocket for a private letter to your future self — something to keep and return to as the seasons change. \nNo previous artistic\, yoga or journaling experience is needed.
