Pottery Painting Opening Day

Join us for the first public opening of our new Pottery Painting sessions at The Drawing Room – Studio Windsor.
After welcoming friends and family for our private preview, we’re delighted to open the studio doors to the public for a relaxed and creative pottery painting experience in our greenhouse studio at The Vineries Garden Centre in Surrey.
During the session you’ll choose from a selection of beautiful ceramic pieces ready to paint, from mugs and bowls to decorative items. Using specialist ceramic paints and guidance from our team, you’ll create your own unique design to take home.
No experience is needed – this is a fun, relaxed creative session suitable for beginners, families and friends looking to enjoy something different together.
Once your piece is finished, we’ll professionally glaze and fire it in the kiln so it’s ready to collect at a later date.
Set within our light-filled greenhouse studio, the experience is designed to feel calm, creative and social – perfect for a Friday activity.
Spaces are limited for this special opening day.
Disclaimer
To secure your space in our studio, we charge a £6 booking fee per attendee. This supports the use of studio space, equipment, preparation and shared creative resources across all of our workshops and general running costs.
Please note: the ceramic items are not included in the studio fee. On the day of the event, you’ll be able to choose and purchase your pottery pieces directly in the studio. Prices vary depending on the item selected.
To ensure everyone has a relaxed, enjoyable experience, bookings are limited to a maximum of 6 guest per booking. If you’re looking to book for a larger group, we’d love to help. Please email us to discuss option and availability.
Cancellation & Refunds: Booking cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice are eligible for full refund of the £6 studio fee or may be transferred to an alternative date (subject to availability). Cancellation made with less than 48 hours’ notice and non-attendance are non-refundable.
Firing & Collection – Once you’ve finished painting your pottery piece, it will be professionally glazed and kiln-fired to give it a durable, glossy finish.
As part of the firing process, pieces will be ready for collection approximately 2–3 weeks after your workshop.
We’ll confirm the expected collection timeframe during your session, and you’ll be able to collect your finished pottery from the studio once it’s ready.
