Join us at THE DRAWING ROOM for a beautifully festive morning of wreath making with floral designer Jessica Beck, founder of Studio Tapestry.
As the festive season begins, come and spend a relaxed morning surrounded by seasonal greenery, beautiful natural materials and the light of our greenhouse studio.
This Christmas wreath making workshop is an opportunity to step away from the Christmas rush, gather with friends and get creative with your hands while learning how to make your very own festive wreath to take home.
With a little festive music, seasonal inspiration, delicious mince pies and something lovely to sip while you create, it’s the perfect way to begin the Christmas season.
A Morning of Festive Florals & Creative Making
We’ll begin with an introduction from Jessica of Studio Tapestry, who will share her approach to floral design and guide you through the process of creating your own Christmas wreath.
Using a beautiful selection of seasonal foliage, flowers, berries and decorative elements, you’ll learn how to build your wreath from the base up, working with texture, colour, shape and natural movement.
Jess will demonstrate the techniques you need and share her tips for creating a balanced and beautiful design, while encouraging you to experiment and develop a wreath that reflects your own style.
You might choose something wild and natural, abundant and traditional, or more contemporary and pared back. There’s no right way to make your wreath — the joy is in creating something that feels uniquely yours.
Once finished, you’ll have a beautiful handmade wreath ready to hang on your front door, display inside your home or give as a very special festive gift.
And of course, we’ll make time to pause and enjoy some festive refreshments and mince pies along the way.
Meet Jessica: Studio Tapestry
Studio Tapestry is a floral design studio founded by Jessica Beck, working across Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire.
The studio creates art-inspired florals with a modern, painterly style for weddings, brands and meaningful personal occasions. Alongside event work, Studio Tapestry hosts floral workshops for brands and venues across the South East.
Jess loves to weave texture, colour and unexpected floral ingredients together to transform spaces into experiences that spark curiosity and delight the senses.
For this workshop, Jess will bring her distinctive approach to floral design to THE DRAWING ROOM, sharing her knowledge and helping each guest create a festive wreath with its own character and personality.
