Relaxed, hands-on creative sessions in Surrey – suitable for all ages

Enjoy a relaxed, hands-on creative workshop in Surrey at The Drawing Room, Studio Windsor’s beautiful greenhouse studio located within The Vineries Garden Centre.

Our Creative Studio Workshops are designed for all abilities, whether you’re visiting for the first time or looking for a fun, creative way to spend time with friends, family, or on your own.

Each session lasts 1.5 hours and gives you the freedom to choose your activity on the day—so you can create in a way that suits you.

Choose Your Creative Activity

During your session, you can select from a variety of creative options available in the studio:

• Pottery painting – our always-available favourite, with a range of ceramics including mugs, plates, bowls and decorative pieces
• Pick & Mix creative bundles (especially popular with children), which may include:
  • Sticker activity books
  • Air clay modelling kits
  • Painting kits and hands-on craft projects

Creative bundles are subject to availability, so there’s always something new to discover.

What to Expect

• A 1.5-hour relaxed creative session
• A bright, welcoming greenhouse studio surrounded by plants
• The flexibility to choose your activity on arrival
• Friendly guidance and support if needed
• A calm, social atmosphere perfect for unwinding and making

If you choose pottery painting, your finished piece will be professionally glazed and kiln-fired, giving it a beautiful, durable finish ready for collection.

Disclaimer

To secure your space in our studio, we charge a £6 booking fee per attendee. This supports the use of studio space, equipment, preparation and shared creative resources across all of our workshops and general running costs.

Please note:

• Pottery and creative kits are not included in the booking fee
• On the day, you can choose and purchase your activity in the studio
• Prices vary depending on your chosen activity or item

To ensure everyone has a relaxed, enjoyable experience, bookings are limited to a maximum of 6 guest per booking. If you’re looking to book for a larger group, we’d love to help. Please email us to discuss option and availability.

Cancellation & Refunds: Booking cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice are eligible for full refund of the £6 studio fee or may be transferred to an alternative date (subject to availability). Cancellation made with less than 48 hours’ notice and non-attendance are non-refundable.

Firing & Collection:

If you choose pottery painting:

Once your piece is finished, it will be professionally glazed and kiln-fired to create a glossy, durable finish.

Your pottery will be ready for collection approximately 2–3 weeks after your session. We’ll confirm your collection timeframe during your visit.
