Join embroidery artist Katherine Savage of Treasure Kave Embroidery for a friendly and creative workshop in THE DRAWING ROOM, a beautiful greenhouse studio surrounded by gardens and seasonal blooms.

Taking place on Friday 10th July from 10:30am–1:00pm, this hands-on workshop is the perfect opportunity to slow down, learn a new skill and enjoy a few hours of mindful creativity. Whether you’re completely new to embroidery or already have some stitching experience, Katherine will guide you through creating a beautiful floral-inspired hoop design featuring decorative stitches, beads and sequins.

With expert tuition, a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of one-to-one support, you’ll discover how enjoyable and rewarding embroidery can be while creating a piece you’ll be proud to display or gift.

Meet the Artist: Katherine Savage

Katherine Savage is the founder of Treasure Kave Embroidery https://treasurekave.com/ and has been teaching embroidery workshops for many years. Known for her patient and encouraging teaching style, Katherine loves helping people build confidence with needle and thread, whether they’re picking up an embroidery needle for the very first time or developing existing skills.

Her workshops combine traditional embroidery techniques with contemporary embellishments, creating beautiful projects that are both accessible and inspiring.

What to Expect

During this hands-on embroidery workshop, you’ll create a stunning beaded embroidery hoop while learning a range of decorative stitches and embellishment techniques.

Throughout the session, Katherine will guide you through:

• Learning essential embroidery stitches including back stitch, couching, basket weave, French knots and woven rose wheels
• Creating texture and dimension with 3D beading techniques
• Adding decorative sequins and embellishments
• Understanding how to combine stitches to create beautiful floral designs
• Building confidence with embroidery tools and materials
• Receiving individual guidance and support throughout the workshop

You’ll leave with a beautiful embroidery project underway, along with the skills and confidence to continue stitching at home.
