Pottery Painting Workshops at Studio Windsor

Enjoy a relaxed pottery painting workshop in Surrey at The Drawing Room, Studio Windsor’s creative greenhouse studio located within The Vineries Garden Centre.

Our pottery painting sessions are designed for all abilities, whether you’re trying it for the first time or simply looking for a creative way to spend time with friends or family.

Choose from a range of ceramic pieces ready to paint including mugs, bowls, plates and decorative objects. Using specialist ceramic paints and simple techniques, you’ll create your own personalised design.

Once finished, your piece will be professionally glazed and kiln-fired, giving it a beautiful glossy finish ready for collection.

The experience is relaxed and social, set within our light-filled greenhouse studio surrounded by plants and the garden centre atmosphere.

Disclaimer

To secure your space in our studio, we charge a £6 booking fee per attendee. This supports the use of studio space, equipment, preparation and shared creative resources across all of our workshops and general running costs.

Please note: the ceramic items are not included in the studio fee. On the day of the event, you’ll be able to choose and purchase your pottery pieces directly in the studio. Prices vary depending on the item selected.

To ensure everyone has a relaxed, enjoyable experience, bookings are limited to a maximum of 6 guest per booking. If you’re looking to book for a larger group, we’d love to help. Please email us to discuss option and availability.

Cancellation & Refunds: Booking cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice are eligible for full refund of the £6 studio fee or may be transferred to an alternative date (subject to availability). Cancellation made with less than 48 hours’ notice and non-attendance are non-refundable.

Firing & Collection – Once you’ve finished painting your pottery piece, it will be professionally glazed and kiln-fired to give it a durable, glossy finish.
As part of the firing process, pieces will be ready for collection approximately 2–3 weeks after your workshop.
We’ll confirm the expected collection timeframe during your session, and you’ll be able to collect your finished pottery from the studio once it’s ready.
