Workshop Opening Times
10:00am – 4:00pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Please arrive a few minutes before your session so we can get everyone settled and ready to begin on time.
The studio is also home to our lifestyle boutique and garden design studio, so guests are very welcome to browse the shop before or after their workshop.
As we are located within the garden centre, you’re also welcome to take some time to explore the surrounding garden centre, including the plant areas and café, either before your session or once your workshop has finished.
Pricing
To secure your space in our studio, we charge a £5 booking fee per attendee. This supports the use of studio space, equipment, preparation and shared creative resources across all of our workshops and general running costs.
Please note: the ceramic items are not included in the studio fee. On the day of the event, you’ll be able to choose and purchase your pottery pieces directly in the studio. Prices vary depending on the item selected.
To ensure everyone has a relaxed, enjoyable experience, bookings are limited to a maximum of 6 guest per booking. If you’re looking to book for a larger group, we’d love to help. Please email us to discuss option and availability.
Cancellation & Refunds: Booking cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice are eligible for full refund of the £5 studio fee or may be transferred to an alternative date (subject to availability). Cancellation made with less than 48 hours’ notice and non-attendance are non-refundable
Facilities
Car Park
Free parking is available at the garden centre for all visitors.
Our greenhouse studio is located within the garden centre car park area, making it easy to access when you arrive.
Guests attending workshops are very welcome to park in the garden centre car park free of charge for the duration of their session.
Food & Beverage
We don’t have a café inside the greenhouse studio, however we are located within The Vineries Garden Centre, which has an on-site café: Vines Coffee Shop.
The café serves breakfast, lunch, homemade soups, sandwiches, paninis, salads, cakes and daily specials, all freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients where possible.
Vines Caffee Shop Opening times:
Monday – Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 3:30pm
Guests are very welcome to bring food or drinks purchased from the café into the workshop to enjoy during their session.
Dog Allowed
Dogs are very welcome at our workshops.
We love having them visit the studio, but we kindly ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times and remain under their owner’s supervision throughout the session.
Toilets
There are no toilet facilities inside the greenhouse studio.
However, guests are welcome to use the toilets located inside the garden centre, which are just a short walk from the studio.
A small cold-water tap will be available in the studio for quick hand washing, but for warm water and full facilities please use the garden centre toilets.

Our studio is located inside the greenhouse situated within the main front car park of The Vineries Garden Centre. When you arrive at the garden centre, head towards the main car park and you’ll find the greenhouse studio there.
